Role Overview

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coach team members.
  • Validate and control the scope of the project.
  • Conduct cost estimation and budget development, and management. 
  • Writes specifications for the development team. 
  • Monitors overall progress and use of resources, and initiating corrective action where necessary.
  • Communicate status reporting, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team. 
  • Manage and reports on team productivity and quality metrics. 
  • Manage the production of the required deliverables. 
  • Facilitate removal of impediments or roadblocks for team members.

Required Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Understands System Development Life Cycle, programming standards, and best practices.
  • Possesses organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend business requirements.
  • Excellent client management skills.
  • 6+ years of practical experience in Project Management and People Management.
  • 2+ years of technology personnel management or equivalent experience.
  • A certification in project management (PMP Certification or Certified Scrum Master) is great but not required.
  • Experience in managing a software development team composed of at least 5 members (developers, testers, UI designers, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or other related courses.
