A new Japanese client wanted to venture to a real time logistics software, where management can track trucks, and delivery of products through a web application that is constantly updating, and drivers can use an iOS application on their mobile devices, to signal to management the drop-off of said products. The needed interconnectivity of the web application, and the iOS software created challenges to the development team.
The challenge of the development team working away from the client has been a challenge ever since. But Lanex has developed a system where constant team communication, scrums, and client meetings has mitigated these problems. With daily standups (team members updating the PM where they are at on their tasks), everybody is on the loop on where how the project is, and where everybody stands. That way, the Project Manager can update the client with a good overview of the progress of the project.
